REVO6 Reviews
PROS & CONS
Pro’s- so far… quieter, less vibration, level cutting, easy install, safer than spinning blades, so far, a pretty good innovation to a growing industry. Cons- Will throw lines if hitting something like we all do from time to time. -Ronnie Fain, Gentry, AR
MONEY SAVINGS
This new technology is going to save us money as I don’t have to be concerned about slinging rocks that will break windows inside the trailer parks that I mow. It also uses less gas and kicks up less dust leaving me less dirty when I’m finished. I do like this system. – Joe Johnson, Bay City, TX
TIME SAVER
“This is going to save me a lot of time. I mow 11 acres and the blades used to grab and get stuck on small saplings, this just knocks ’em over and I keep on going. This mows real good”. — Tyler Kalla, Sinton, TX
I LIKE IT!!
“I like it, used it a couple times on my 4 acres, doesn’t stir up the dust and it is quieter, haven’t had to change out any lines yet”. — Jerry McGuire, Lebanon, MO
Arizona Customer Review
These blades are worth it if you are mowing in large acreage with small rocks!
They cut good and last very long on blade change. I had my neighbor purchase them after he saw what they did.
Good Idea!
Believe it or not, I actually modified my Husqvarna Riding Lawnmower 12 years ago to use DR Trimmer String Mounts and Strings, because my country property is so riddled with rocks that the second time I mowed, one of the manifolds literally tore off of the cutter platform. No further problems ever since I switched to strings, and the grass is cut smoothly, too. I should have marketed the idea.
CAN'T WAIT!
Saw something similar years (35) ago being used on a church lawn in far west Texas (lots of rocks). It was homemade, used wire whips and did a fantastic job. Never have been able to find anything like it until now. Lifting my 60″ Hustler won’t be a problem; I’ll just use the pallet forks on my front-end loader just like any other maintenance, get it up to waist level and make it easy on your back (I’m 79).
I CANT WAIT TO GET MINE AND PUT IT TO USE!
SAFEMOWING.COM
Hello…came across your YouTube video by chance…and forgot to write down your channel and product name. So, I spent close to four hours trying to find it again, and finally lucked out. Please add a common search title…ie: mower blades; alternate mower blades, etc. so we can find it more easily and support your endeavor. I love the product. Can’t wait to try it out. Wishing you a very successful outcome.

HUMBLING WORDS
This is about the man behind Blade Solution. I had the honor of working and traveling with Richard for 12 years. Richard is the most honorable and respectful person you will ever know. I trust Richard and his products
Mowed Down Wild Flower Patch
Cut Tansy, Lupine, Daisies, and many other thick stalk flowers at the end of the season after full growth. These string blades did the job with surprisingly little wear on the blades, maybe an inch or so wore off. This is the toughest mowing I do, and it worked. My mower is a Craftsman self propelled walk behind mower. I think the cut is 22-24 inches on that mower. I have a zero turn mower that I want to use in high grass and rocky ground, and so I hope Blade Solution will have units that fit my Greenworks zero turn electric mower.
Can't hardly wait to get some of these.
I have two mowing decks on the trash heap, and I am sick of it. I’d buy three of these today if they are available. I even busted my brush hog on these rocks.
FAQs
The REVO6 2.0 utilizes a hub and flexible line, creating a more equipment-friendly cutting environment when encountering hard or stationary objects. It provides a much safer user experience compared to metal blades, significantly reducing the risk of injury or objects being thrown from under the mower while still providing an efficient mowing environment for a well-maintained yard.
The REVO6 2.0 and REVOline delivers an efficient cut similar to that of metal blades, ensuring your lawn has a well-maintained appearance.
Yes, the REVO6 is most effective when used with a mulching cover rather than a side or rear discharge or bagging setup.
Line replacement frequency varies based on lawn conditions and obstructions, but under normal conditions, the REVOline typically lasts for about 9 hours of mowing. The REVOline comes pre-cut in 10.5” lengths, offering approximately 24 inches of cutting length when inserted.
Blade Solution Corp (BSC) is committed to continuously expanding the design of the REVO6 to accommodate as many blade hole shapes and spindle diameters as possible. By leveraging user feedback, we strive to make the REVO6 even more efficient, user-friendly, and safe. For REVOline, our ongoing research and development efforts focus on enhancing durability and cut quality. Our goal is to provide the best alternative to metal blades, ensuring a safer and more efficient mowing experience.
While the REVO6 2.0 doesn’t create the same lift as conventional metal blades, its aluminum hub and line generate sufficient airflow to provide a clean cut, leaving your lawn well-maintained. It performs best with a mulching cover.
Yes, REVO6 2.0 and REVOline can cut tall grass. However, just like with metal blades, you may need to slow down and make multiple passes to achieve a clean cut when mowing thick or tall grass and weeds. The advantage of the REVO6 is that if you run over rocks, limbs, stumps, metal, or any other objects that could damage traditional blades or your mower, it will only take a few minutes to replace the line, saving you hundreds of dollars in potential repair costs.
During checkout, you’ll enter your mower’s make and model to help us determine the appropriate spacer for your order. Providing specific details such as spindle size (3/8” or 5/8”) and blade hole design (round, 4-point, 5-point, 6-point, 7-point, or S-shape) helps ensure accuracy. Spacers that match the hole design of your mower are provided. There is also a guide on our website that can help you choose the correct spacer.
As previously stated, spacers that match the hole design of your mower are provided. The REVO6 2.0 is a universal fit for the majority of mowers, using the same bolt or nut that holds your current blades. Currently, our largest center hole will fit spindles up to 5/8 (.625) in diameter. We have a bushing/washer kit that brings the hole down from the 5/8 (.625) to a 3/8 (.375) hole for the majority of push mowers. Installation requires the same tools used to change your blades. You can find tutorial videos on our website to provide further assistance.
