SANDY SOIL

August 11, 2024

I have 3 acres of sandy soil, Bahia mostly. and your system leaves no stalks standing once I run over them with my Cub Cadet. I can tell you firsthand this system is way easier to use than conventional blades. – Robert Reed, Saraland, AL

I love mine! It’s quieter and uses less gas overall. Had a few cords pop off but all in all I really like it. Fitting to my Cub Cadet Zero Turn was perfect. – Jason Myron, Spring Hill, TN

LOVE THE CONCEPT

August 6, 2024

I love the concept. The lines are pretty strong. Easy to install. I like that it will keep doing a pretty good job even if you lose a line or two due to heavy debris. I do have the same problem of them not lifting the grass and leaving a few stalks/blades or patches. Also, I have a zero turn toro. I do not have ramps or a jack so I use my jeep winch over a tree limb. That works like a charm but I have to do it after each mowing. I do have an extra tough 3 Acres to mow and I have never been one to shy away from tough areas, so I give it a real test. I am currently still satisfied and have had to change my mowing routine. I can also tell that it is much easier on the grass, as well as healthier. I now mow one direction and a .5 inch higher. Then mow the next time perpendicular to the last mow at the same level or . 5 inch lower. I also have about 3 different types of grass across my mowable acres, which always makes it a challenge. Just ordered new line, the jury is still out.

5 STAR REVIEW

August 5, 2024

I was also trying to make something like this, for my personal use because I would go through a mower a year just trying to cut the grass around all my stumps out in the woods. Your product is amazing!

I have the REVO6 mounted on a cheap 3 hp MTD mower and it cuts through everything! I’m talking 3ft tall thistle and shoots from oak stumps. It takes an absolute beating and hasn’t broken a single trimmer line yet!

My property is off grid, and I have various extension cords running through the grass that become hard to see, and a pain to move come mowing time. Not anymore! it doesn’t create lift, so the cords don’t get wrapped up or cut. Absolutely amazing product 👌 5 star 🌟 review! Micah Erickson – West St Paul, MN

CUT QUALITY ISSUE

August 4, 2024

I was hoping this would be the answer, but was disappointed in its cut ability. Pros – quite, less pull on your engine, and certainly safer. Cons – cut quality is just not there. The Revo6 has no lift to pull the grass up before it’s cut which results in an uneven cut and some grass blades that simply do not get cut. I mowed about half my acreage with the Revo6 and had to switch back to my standard blades to get the quality of cut that I expect. I have a Grasshopper front mount 60” mower and the grass the front wheels run over before cutting does not get cut very well due to the lift issue. I loved the idea of not having to sharpen blades again but it looks like I will be continuing to do so.

EXCELLENT

July 30, 2024

Excellent product I have about 5 acres that I mow 4 of them are on a very steep hill and have heavy brush, hadn’t been cut for 2 summers so it was bad. My revo6 cleaned it up pretty good I did go through several trimmer lines due to rocks, other than that it was excellent. MS – JEFFERSON CTY, MO

FAQs

The REVO6 2.0 utilizes a hub and flexible line, creating a more equipment-friendly cutting environment when encountering hard or stationary objects. It provides a much safer user experience compared to metal blades, significantly reducing the risk of injury or objects being thrown from under the mower while still providing an efficient mowing environment for a well-maintained yard.

The REVO6 2.0 and REVOline delivers an efficient cut similar to that of metal blades, ensuring your lawn has a well-maintained appearance.

Yes, the REVO6 is most effective when used with a mulching cover rather than a side or rear discharge or bagging setup.

Line replacement frequency varies based on lawn conditions and obstructions, but under normal conditions, the REVOline typically lasts for about 9 hours of mowing. The REVOline comes pre-cut in 10.5” lengths, offering approximately 24 inches of cutting length when inserted.

Blade Solution Corp (BSC) is committed to continuously expanding the design of the REVO6 to accommodate as many blade hole shapes and spindle diameters as possible. By leveraging user feedback, we strive to make the REVO6 even more efficient, user-friendly, and safe. For REVOline, our ongoing research and development efforts focus on enhancing durability and cut quality. Our goal is to provide the best alternative to metal blades, ensuring a safer and more efficient mowing experience.

While the REVO6 2.0 doesn’t create the same lift as conventional metal blades, its aluminum hub and line generate sufficient airflow to provide a clean cut, leaving your lawn well-maintained. It performs best with a mulching cover.

Yes, REVO6 2.0 and REVOline can cut tall grass. However, just like with metal blades, you may need to slow down and make multiple passes to achieve a clean cut when mowing thick or tall grass and weeds. The advantage of the REVO6 is that if you run over rocks, limbs, stumps, metal, or any other objects that could damage traditional blades or your mower, it will only take a few minutes to replace the line, saving you hundreds of dollars in potential repair costs.

During checkout, you’ll enter your mower’s make and model to help us determine the appropriate spacer for your order. Providing specific details such as spindle size (3/8” or 5/8”) and blade hole design (round, 4-point, 5-point, 6-point, 7-point, or S-shape) helps ensure accuracy. Spacers that match the hole design of your mower are provided. There is also a guide on our website that can help you choose the correct spacer.

As previously stated, spacers that match the hole design of your mower are provided. The REVO6 2.0 is a universal fit for the majority of mowers, using the same bolt or nut that holds your current blades. Currently, our largest center hole will fit spindles up to 5/8 (.625) in diameter. We have a bushing/washer kit that brings the hole down from the 5/8 (.625) to a 3/8 (.375) hole for the majority of push mowers. Installation requires the same tools used to change your blades. You can find tutorial videos on our website to provide further assistance.
